Urbanization or Ruralization
Urbanization concept is centralizing everything in one place more often in bigger cities which offer nothing more than congestion. This is true due to the migration of workers from rural areas to urban cities. This poses a great threat to the quality of life in these places and is displacing a lot of families. The congestion brought about by the exodus of migrant workers leads to a higher cost of living, poor living conditions, and more toxic emissions resulting from jammed traffic. Jammed traffic also accounts for the loss of full utilization of fuel that we import triggering more consumption that increases the petroleum price in the world market. The price of commodities also increases due to localized demand. To sum it all up, it will only degenerate these places due to its imbalanced nature. Likewise, it is inhumane to disintegrate the bond between these migrant workers from their families just for them to earn a living for family support. Disuniting families will have some sort of psychological burden on all the family members they will leave behind as they embark on a greener pasture. Lastly, the development of this poor rural will only progress and so will the people that constitute it.
Ruralization is more appealing to the growth of a country as it allows it to tap its geographically dispersed resources and give employment to rural folks so they don't have to leave their families behind. It deters capitalism by mushrooming competition and upgrading the quality of products as a result. This may also bring down prices and lower transport costs due to its widespread. The idea is to put up small to medium-scale factories that are congruent to the population and its growth. The economic growth in this region will flourish and the country's economy will be well-distributed resulting in a better economic structure.
